InCom-UAB – the Institute of Communication at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) is an interdepartmental research centre that undertakes studies on a range of communication issues while encouraging inter-university collaboration. Its main objectives are basic and applied research, specialised training, dissemination, the provision of expert services and knowledge transfer in the field of communication. InCom-UAB was created by agreement of the UAB Governing Board on 18 December 1997 and has since become an international benchmark for research and dissemination in the field of communication.
