The Research Centre for Science and Mathematics Education (CRECIM) is a Special Research Centre at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, created from the TIREC Research Group (Research and Educational Computer Technology). The CRECIM is an organization dedicated to promote better scientific, mathematical and technological literacy of the population from the following lines of work: The study of the scientific practice in the classroom and the scientific and technological literacy in society; the use of digital tools as mediating artifacts for teaching and learning Science; the promotiof of interest in STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics); teaching and learning Science through tinkering and maker methodologies; and the promotion of equity in education in STEM disciplines.   |
