GREDICS (Research Group on Social Sciences Education) is a research group of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, recognized by the AQU (2017 SGR 1600) and leaded by Antoni Santisteban Fernández from the Section of Socials Sciences Education of UAB. GREDICS is developing national and international research projects regarding teaching and learning social studies, history and geography, global citizenship education, education for social justice, critical literacy in social studies, make visible people and social groups that are socially invisible and the setting up of counter hate speech discourses. These projects have the aim to gather information for teaching innovation, either by creating new teaching approaches, new teaching resources or by improving the teacher’s training of social studies, geography and history.
