The Advertising and Public Relations Research Group (GRP) was founded in 2005. Its main lines of research are: advertising creativity; the relationship between gender and advertising; counter-advertising (social advertising); public relations; and mural graphics with political and social content. The GRP is linked to the Department of Advertising, Public Relations and Audiovisual Communication of the Universitat Autò (official number 1335). It has obtained funding from various public bodies: the Ministry of Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Directorate General for Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Catalan Women’s Institute and the Centre for Contemporary History of Catalonia.
