The Institute of Political and Social Sciences (ICPS) was established on 8 November 1988 by the Barcelona’s County Council and the Autonomous University of Barcelona in the legal form of the consortium. In academic purposes, is an institute affiliated to the UAB. The aim of the ICPS is to promote research in Political Science and in general social sciences, devoting special attention to the training of young researchers and the promotion of relations between political scientists from Catalonia, Spain and around the world, facilitating the stay of Catalan researchers and professors in schools and universities and foreign teachers and scholars among us. The lines of action focus on: Research , Teaching and Publications. |
