The Human Lab research group aims to study the psychological processes involved in the onset and maintenance of disorders related to externalized/disinhibited behaviors (especially psychopathy, conduct disorders and Cluster B personality disorders), individual differences in vulnerability to these disorders and their neurobiological and neuropsychological underpinnings. MAIN RESEARCH LINES: a) Conduct problems and psychopathic traits in child and adolescent population. b) Aversive and appetitive neural systems as dimensions of vulnerability to psychopathology. c) Self-injuries, emotional regulation and borderline personality disorder. d) Adaptation and standardization of instruments for the diagnosis and psychological assessment of externalizing disorders. e) Biological markers related to these processes, including stress response systems.
